| 1. Get fit and healthy, down to a single digit size. | Contemplating the best way for me to do this | |
| 2. Learn how to truly love myself and appreciate how wonderful I am. | Working on this, but obviously still hate myself, so it's a constant process. | |
| 3. Learn another language fluently, perhaps more than one other language. | I'm considering visiting the library to see if they would purchase rosetta stone software... | |
| 4. Run in a 5K. | Hopefully the getting fit portion will help me with this.... | |
| 5. Get all of the Bob Ross paint set stuff and learn to paint with his old videos. | I'm going to look into how much this stuff costs online. Haven't done it yet, though. | |
| 6. Finish writing an entire book, whether a children's book or adult, and submit it to a publisher. | I haven't finished a book yet, but I've begun several. | |
| 7. Travel out of the country (not to Canada) on an exotic vacation with my husband. | I expect this to be later in life, rather than sooner. But we'll see. | |
| 8. Formally meditate every single day. | Hopefully I can accomplish this daily before the kids are up for the day. | |
| 9. Save $10,000 every year. | Right now we're putting away $100 per week, so that brings us to just over $5000 a year. I want to figure a way to double our overall yearly savings. | |
| 10. Become a frugal shopper | I've looked up some internet coupon sites, and I think I'm going to start buying the Sunday paper. | |
| 11. Create a hope chest for my daughter. ETA: And a bachelor box for my son. :) | I actually just saw this on someone else's bucket list and haven't even begun to think about where to start this, but it's a lovely idea. | |
| 12. Get a truly meaningful tattoo. | I'm only in the thinking about it stages right now, because tattoos scare me. Not the needle, just the permanency of it. | |
| 13. Become deeply involved with Buddhism. | I want to join more groups, read more about it, and integrate this into my daily life, even moreso than I have. | |
| 14. Go whitewater rafting. | I'd love to do this with my husband some day; just gently, not anything too dangerous right away. | |
| 15. Go SCUBA diving with my husband. | This sounds amazing and fantastic. I think he would enjoy it as much as I would. Er... WILL. :) | |
| 16. Own my own home again. | Something that we've looked into, but won't happen for a while. | |
| 17. Get a Chinese Crested Hairless dog, and fully train her myself. | Has to happen after we get our own home. | |
| 18. Give blood | Must happen before the tattoo, I suppose. | |
| 19. Become active in a sport. | When it gets warmer out, maybe i'll look for a local softball team or something. | |
| 20. Figure out my ultimate career; what I was meant to do. | This one will take a lot of research; and perhaps a good look at myself. | |
| 21. Teach my children to be strong yet selfless | They're still small, but I know I can teach them these traits. | |
| 22. Get a Kindle and read all 100 books on this list, starting at 100 and working my way backwards. | It looks like I've already read 7 of these books, so I only have 93 left to go..... | |
| 23. Watch all of the movies on this list, in no particular order. | I have seen 9 of these films, but will no doubt watch them again. :) | |
| 24. Go jet-skiing | A summer activity, obviously, and we'll have to find someplace where we can do this. | |
| 25. Take better care of my skin | I have eczema, and it would help if I would cleanse, tone and moisturize my face and at least moisturize my body every day. | |
| 26. Learn to knit | I know how to crochet, but I never learned to knit, and I think I'd enjoy it. | |
| 27. Sing in a band | I would have to find a band first, but this is something I've always aspired to do. | |
| 28. Buy a scooter and learn to drive it. | My husband has his motorcycle license, so it would be fun to drive a scooter, too. | |
| 29. Pass on a skill to my children. | Even if I only teach them to crochet; just teaching them something to always keep me with them would be wonderful. | |
| 30. Learn to better organize and schedule my life. | I'd love to have a set time for things, like writing a grocery list and purchasing groceries, etc. | |
| 31. Eat at the table every night for dinner. | Instead of in front of the TV like we always do. | |
| 32. Get a new digital camera and take more pictures of my family. | I used to do this, but now I never do anymore, and that makes me sad. | |
| 33. Organize my desk. | Right now it's a total mess; I'll need a filing cabinet at the least.... | |
| 34. Do creative projects with my kids at least 3 times a week. | They have lots of crayons and colored pencils and I never seem to do this stuff with them. | |
| 35. Plant a garden | I think if I do this on "our" side of the yard it can get done, but at least when we get our own house I will do it for sure. | |
| 36. Go back to school. | After both of my kids are in school full-time and I've figured out what I want to be when I grow up. | |
| 37. Become a radio DJ. | I'd really love to do this, but it may be after the 'go back to school' thing is over. | |
| 38. Take a yoga class. | I have no idea where to do something like this, but I really, really want to start doing *beginners* yoga. | |
| 39. Decorate my bedroom. | Many years ago I had decided that I was going to have this awesome tacky bedroom. Now that I'm in an apartment again, it doesn't seem possible, but I could at least start decorating; I don't need to paint to do that. | |
| 40. Start making our living area into a home. | I feel confined by our apartment, in that I can't make it "mine"; but I can. I just have to do things like buy pictures instead of painting. | |
| 41. Get comfortable with death. | I'm so afraid of dying that it consumes a lot of my thoughts. I'm working on getting comfortable with it day by day. | |
| 42. Take the kids outside every day that the weather permits. | Even on beautiful, sunny days I don't do this. I really need to get us out more. | |
| 48. Get on a roller derby team. | I've been seeing this on TV lately, and it looks like a heck of a lot of fun. I'd love to do roller derby! | |
| 49. See Tibet | I'd love to visit Tibet and see where all of the great monks live. | |
| 50. See all of the World Wonders. | I'd start with the classic first 7, and then move on to the updated list of the newest wonders of the world. |

On Good Morning America this morning I saw a clip about these ladies who teach others to save HUNDREDS of dollars on groceries, etc. They host coupon parties. I think their website had the name BeCentsAble. I'm going to visit the site and check them out too.
